En esta nueva entrada de nuestro taller de restauración os voy a mostrar la recuperación que hicimos con un tocado de sinamay magenta y plumas color plata.

En estas primeras imágenes podéis apreciar como nos llegó, la primera foto es visto del derecho y la segunda visto del réves.

In this new post of our restoration workshop I will show the recovery that we made with a fascinator of magenta sinamay and silver feathers.
In these first pictures you can see how it arrived to us, the first picture is seen in the right side and the second saw the reverse.

En las siguientes fotos veréis como estaba hecha la base y lo barata que es la silicona a juzgar por la cantidad que se utilizó en ella.

In the following pictures you will see how was made the base and the cheaper the silicone is judging by the amount that was used in it.

Lo primero que hicimos fué recuperar el color del sinamay tiñéndolo de nuevo.

The first thing we did was regain sinamay color tinting again.

Posteriormente lo volvimos a montar todo con las plumas y el velo que habíamos rehabilitado anteriormente y también añadimos unas plumas en color magenta para obtener un resultado más armonizado.

Then we remounted it with the feathers and the veil that we had previously rehabilitated and also we added ones magenta feathers for a more harmonized effect.

Ya os habéis dado cuenta que sólo hay fotos del tocado con la cabeza cuando ya está totalmente restaurado así que no podéis compararlo con el original, lo sentimos, no fuímos capaces de colocar el tocado en la cabeza de tal manera que se mantuviese sujeto y que se viese que era eso, un tocado.

As you noticed there are only pictures of the fascinator in the head when it is fully restored so you can not compare it with the original, sorry, we were unable to place the fascinator in the cork head so that is held over it and saw that was that, a fascinator.
