En un mundo en el que la tecnología, la industrialización, los costes, el más por menos, y cantidad mejor que calidad es lo que habitualmente encontramos al mirar a nuestro alrededor, en donde lo oriental ya no lo asociamos a algo exótico, maravilloso y especial sino a algo barato, malo y producido en cadena, que cuando decimos taller lo que se nos viene a la cabeza es la imagen de nuestro coche averiado, en este mundo donde las grandes empresas nos ocultan nuestro campo de visión con electrizantes anuncios, en este mundo del que os hablo todavía somos bastantes, aunque no se nos oiga tanto, los que hacemos las cosas artesanalmente, con mucho cariño y con el tiempo que se necesita para dejar una pequeña parte de nosotros en cada creación.

He escogido para esta presentación un tocado vintage, que rememora los diseños realizados antiguamente, bien, hay dos cosas primordiales para empezar a hacer un tocado, realizar el diseño y conseguir los materiales; generalmente lo primero es el diseño aunque hay algunas veces que nada más ver una tela o un material nos golpea en la mente la imagen de un tocado especial, imagino que debe ser como cuando un escultor está delante de una piedra y ve en su cabeza la escultura que contiene.

En este caso quisimos hacer un diseño sencillo, sin adornos, que se pudiese llevar en cualquier situación y sin temor a la hora del día que fuese, estamos hablando de un tocado que se podía llevar fácilmente en los años 30 y 40.

Después de buscar por distintos proveedores la tela especial que necesitamos lo qué tenemos que hacer es realizar el corte de la misma, este siempre hay que hacerlo lo más exacto posible y de manera que la tela quede lo mejor dispuesta para el siguiente paso.

Ahora realizamos una base, ésta la conseguimos adaptando a un molde un material de sombrerería llamado buckram, cuando ya hemos dado este paso entonces lo cubrimos con una guata muy fina para darle volumen, hecho esto lo forramos con la tela que por supuesto tiene que ir sin ninguna arruga, una manera de hacerlo es alinear con alfileres el tejido para qué así se mantenga perfectamente liso mientras hacemos la operación, ahora estamos en disposición de realizar el bordado a mano para realzar los contornos de la flor y de las hojas, ya por último forramos la base por debajo para así coserle la peineta que nos dejará sujetarlo al pelo.
