Hoy he empezado un nuevo diseño y he pensado que os gustaría conocer las diferentes etapas del proceso hasta la finalización del mismo.
Today I have begun a new design and have thought that you would like to know the different process stages to the ending.
Este es un mini sombrerito de 12 cm de diámetro y he elegido un verde manzana que es divertido y lo veréis en todas las colecciones esta temporada.
This one is a 12 cm a mini hat and I have chosen the apple-green that is funny and you will see it in all the collections this season.
El moldeado es un arte que requiere horas de práctica para que el material con el que se trabaja quede en la forma correcta sin arrugas ni imperfecciones.
The blocking is an art that needs hours of practice in order that the material with one works stays in the correct form without wrinkles or flaws.
En este caso uso sinamay, primero lo he humedecido para para que sea más fácil de trabajar y después lo he fijado para que tome la forma exacta del molde. Así se queda toca la noche secando y por la mañana estará rígido, la forma nunca la pierde. Ya sólo queda rematar los bordes por debajo para que se ajuste perfectamente.
In this case I use sinamay, first I have moistened it in order that can be easier for working and later I have fixed it so takes the exact form of the mold.
This way it remains the night drying and in the morning it will be rigid, the form never loses. Just only finish off the edges for below so it adjusts perfectly.
In the next step I will show different trims and how to hold it.
